Dear Thought Leader,

Another busy week in Canadian learning & technology. And, a very controversial one at that in light of this past week’s Canadian whistleblower, Christopher Wiley, formerly of Cambridge Analytica presents a learning opportunity around the highly sensitive issue of privacy and personal data in education. We’ll be delving deeper into this issue which will surely impact both K12 and post-secondary education.

I was fortunate to facilitate a lunch meeting at MaRSDD this week with Australian and Canadian trade commissioners focused on exploring synergies in EdTech knowledge exchanges. I’m looking to invite a notable keynote from Australia to our 9th Canadian Learning & Technology Leadership Summit--Designing Next Generation Sustainable Learning Environments. Save the Date! Thursday, October 11.

It was also cool host our newest partner, Osmo education from Silicon Valley for school site visits and meeting with the ministry of education as they prepare to launch their education focused version across Canada.

I hope you’re enjoying our new weekly Top10 reports. We were humbled by the many positive comments received and welcome your continued feedback and personal updates!

Until next time, keep the digital learning curve steep!

P.S GTA Colleagues you are welcome to join us at our New MindShare Workspace for a tour and stay as my guest!
